7 ways to PC Optimization

Do you know you can easily speed up your HEAVY AND FAT INSTALLED SOFTWARE computer up to 2x or more in just 10 minutes with these 7 simple steps?

Normal PC optimization is easy, but if you want to go extreme, you can strip your operating system to the minimum, using some utilities like 98lite, XPlite and Vista lite, but you will lost many features in the Windows, and only remain core functionality that you want, cetainly the speed is awsome! I am not going to that extreme, what I am going to show you is the normal way to minimize your services usage with maximum compatibility!

1. You need to turn off “Automatically search for network folders and printers” option in Control Panel, Folder options, View Tab. This will speed up Windows explorer when you try to explorer any hard disk or network drive. Network adapter is another place to check if you encounter any delay during launching of software or saving file(s).

2. If you want a faster boot up, you may defrag the prefetch files (Start->Run-> type “defrag c: -b”), or simply delete them (Under the folder c:Windowsprefetch).

3. Check your motherboard and Video card settings, some of the brand allows you to over-clock the hardware, it will give you extra 10~20% of performance. Try this only if you know more about computer hardware.

4. To optimize pc further more, you need auto memory free and monitoring program, if you own registry easy, you can do it manually, freeing up more memory before and after executing any memory hungry software. I recommend FreeRam XP Pro for memory optimization.

5. Many of you might already know this, “msconfig” (Start -> Run->type “msconfig”), select service or start up tab and disable what ever program you don’t need, minimizing the resource taken by the driver level software.

6. Registry Easy comes with a very powerful and yet friendly tool call system optimizer. You can also use Registry Easy to minimize the load from the services and start up program. Registry Easy can detect and repair an unbelivable huge amount of errors, see Registry Easy review for more information.

7. Use TuneXP (Freeware) to optimize your computer for the first time you install Windows XP, it includes few useful functions that speed up your boot time, boost your application launch time and allows you to adjust your cache to the optimum level.

If you have go through these 7 steps, normal PC Optimization should be completed and your PC will never be faster! Remember to obtain Registry Easy, Tunexp and FreeRam XP Pro, these 3 utilities is a must have tool to Speed up Windows.
